CHAMPION OF TRIO AWARD

“For Advocacy on behalf of ASPIRE and TRIO students by an elected public official”

This award is given each year; the appropriate nominations are received and approved by the ASPIRE Executive Board. Criteria to be a nominee consist of the following:

ASPIRE members may submit nominations.

• The recipient shall be selected and approved by the ASPIRE Board.
• Nominees must be elected public officials (includes Tribal Council Members);
• must serve constituents within the ASPIRE region;
• and must have demonstrated active support and advocacy of TRIO students and programs.

Please provide a written paragraph that supports the accomplishments of your nomination.
