The House changed it into an interim study of the feasibility and desirability of developing a school choice program.\u00a0 It will now go to the Senate for its consideration.<\/td>\r\n<td width=\"121\">PASSED HOUSE, GOES TO SENATE<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n<tr>\r\n<td width=\"90\">&nbsp;<\/td>\r\n<td width=\"257\">&nbsp;<\/td>\r\n<td width=\"121\">&nbsp;<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n<tr>\r\n<td width=\"90\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.legis.nd.gov\/assembly\/65-2017\/documents\/17-0642-04000.pdf\">SB 2243<\/a><\/td>\r\n<td width=\"257\">This is the teacher loan forgiveness bill. The bill moved to the Senate Appropriations Committee for a hearing earlier this week. The program, which aims to fill teaching positions in remote or hard-to-fill areas, would pay back up to $25,000 of student loans over three years.<\/td>\r\n<td width=\"121\">In Senate Appropriations<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n<tr>\r\n<td width=\"90\">&nbsp;<\/td>\r\n<td width=\"257\">&nbsp;<\/td>\r\n<td width=\"121\">&nbsp;<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n<tr>\r\n<td width=\"90\">\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.legis.nd.gov\/lcn\/council\/billtracking\/pub\/viewBillInformation.htm?sessionYear=2017&amp;viewBillNumber=77a34cd162cecd87e5879cba510968c4\">SB 2036<\/a><\/td>\r\n<td width=\"257\">Relating to matching grants for the advancement of academics at higher education institutions under the control of the state board of higher education;
