The ASPIRE-UTAH TRIO SCHOLARSHIP is offered to outstanding entering or continuing undergraduate or graduate students selected from Utah TRIO programs. There will be a limited number of scholarships in the amount of $500 each to qualified TRIO Students.
Eligibility Criteria:
– Applicant must be an active participant in a Utah TRIO Project (Educational Talent Search, Upward Bound, Veterans Upward Bound, Student Support Services or Ronald E McNair Post Baccalaureate Achievement).
– Applicant must be a current TRIO participant planning to enroll in a post-secondary institution in Summer or Fall after high school graduation.
The scholarship is awarded on the basis of participation in and commitment to TRIO programs; academic achievement; personal, academic, and career goals; extra-curricular, service, and/or leadership activities; financial need, and other information provided.
