Utah ASPIRE State Conference 2020

Dear Utah ASPIRE:

 In response to the statewide directives related to the developing COVID-19 (Coronavirus) we as the host institution have been in consultation with Anthonie Nichols, Utah ASPIRE President, and have determined that we will postpone this year’s Utah ASPIRE Conference originally schedule for April 1-3, 2020 for one year.  The Utah Valley University Conference Committee is committed to finishing the job on planning and executing this event for our state.  We have negotiated with the Hilton Garden Inn in Lehi, Utah and the have agreed to reschedule our Utah ASPIRE Conference next year for March 31-April 2, 2021 without imposing any cancellation fees. 

At this point:

1)      We are working with the ASPIRE Regional Board regarding conference registration fees, and we will send out further communication about the handling of registration fees once the Board has had a chance to discuss further.

2)      You will need to cancel your hotel reservations, you can either do this online or by calling 801-341-6333.  The front desk staff at the Hilton Garden Inn has been informed to waive any cancellation fees.  If there are challenges with this process you may also contact Vanesa Gawlik, Director of Sales for the Lehi Hilton Garden Inn at 385-352-7254 or email at Vanesa.Gawlik@Hilton.com

3)      We will be in touch in early 2021 regarding room reservations, calls for proposals, and other items to successfully host this conference next spring. 

We appreciate your patience and understanding and want you to know that the health and safety of our Utah ASPIRE professionals and students is of utmost importance to our planning committee.  We are excited to host the state in 2021.
