UB Summer Olympics 2024

Upward Bound Summer Olympics is an event that has historically been hosted at CSU in Fort Collins dating back to the Paul Thayer days! This is an opportunity for our participants to meet UB/UBMS students from other programs throughout the state. This event involves outdoor sports games, trivia (fun and educational), and minute to win it games. In 2019 when it was last hosted at CSU, we had a record breaking 309 students and staff from 8 different programs! WOW!!! (pictures HERE) CSU Pueblo was scheduled to host in 2020/2021, but this thing called COVID halted planning, and in recent years, we have all been adjusting. Since this is the first year back in 5 years, CSU will host to set the tone! We hope that in the future, other institutions feel the support to be able to host at their campus. This year, we have brainstormed the idea of a contribution from programs who want to attend through a registration fee to offset the cost supplies such as materials needed for games, minute to win it, signage, first aid, and other needs for the day.
