Workshops Based in Justice, Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion
The ASPIRE Social Justice Committee (SJC) is planning to offer ASPIRE membership ongoing professional development sessions in Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (JEDI). To facilitate this first round of workshops, we would like to hear from YOU!
We know we have a wealth of knowledge and experience in our six-state region when it comes to promoting justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion in our programs and when working with our TRIO students.
The ASPIRE SJC is seeking workshop proposals on two tracks:
- Basic introductory information for everyone in the region, and
- A more advanced track for those who are experienced in JEDI work and would like the opportunity to study more advanced topics with other experienced colleagues.
Those who are selected as presenters for upcoming workshops will receive a small stipend (amount TBD). Selected workshop presenters should plan to present virtually during summer 2022.
