Excursion Options: Tuesday, Oct. 1 from 1-5 pm

Downtown Excursion (FREE): Explore Helenaโ€™s charming walking mall and nearby attractions! This excursion includes a scheduled visit to the Holter Museum of Art, access to downtown shopping, and access to a self-guided tour of the Cathedral. Transportation to downtown and back to the hotel is provided by a shuttle. For more information on the Holter Museum, please go to https://holtermuseum.org/visit
Accessibility notes: this excursion requires walking to each location unless the participant is in their own vehicle. The Holter Museum of Art can provide accommodations on a case-by-case basis.ย 

State Capitol Tour Excursion (FREE): Step back in time and learn about the history of Montanaโ€™s state house. This excursion includes a self-guided tour. Transportation is not included, but a ride-share option is available.ย ย The State Capitol is a 3-mile (round trip) walk from the Delta Hotel. A ride-share will be set up for folks who need transportation. For more information, please go to https://mhs.mt.gov/education/Capitol/

Mt. Helena Hike Excursion (FREE): Interested in seeing some views and getting away from the hustle and bustle? Join us on a hike to explore the beautiful trails on Mt. Helena. Please be prepared for a 3 mile hike on uneven terrain. There will be some elevation gain (what goes up must come down). A shuttle will be available to bring people to the trailhead and take them back to the hotel.

Accessibility notes: this hike includes an ADA trail; however, the full loop continues onto non-ADA trails. Email Kelsey.anderson@helenacollege.edu for more information.

Broadwater Hot Springs Excursion ($15-$20 – Pay at Location): Sit back and relax at Helenaโ€™s only geothermal mineral hot springs. Participants can enjoy hot tubs, cold plunges, and a soaker pool for as long as they want. Take a break at the Taproom grill to grab some lunch. Participants pay the $15 single-use fee at the location. Mid-week prices are from 6 am- 3 pm, so make sure to get there BEFORE 3 pm. Prices increase to $20 at 3 pm. Accessibility notes: The Broadwater facilities are wheelchair accessible. Wheelchair lifts are present in the lower deck and the upper deck. Please call the facility for more information. ย 

Spooky Trolley Tour ($15 Deposit): Pedal through Helena on this spooky, haunted tour. You and 13 others will need to stick together as you learn about the past from those who have passed. This is a low-level exertion activity that takes about 2 hours. Participants will need to meet at the Myrna Loy Theater entrance (15 N Ewing St.). Book now if you dare!

Pedal Pub Brewery Tour ($40): Offered on Monday, Sept. 30 ONLY – Sold Out!

End your day having a blast with 13 others touring Helenaโ€™s Breweries nestled throughout Historic Helena. This is a low-level exertion activity, lasting about 3 hours. The tour stops and allows time to eat, drink, and be merry โ€“ singing songs along the way. We end at Lewis and Clark where you can enjoy more fine crafts brews, play games, and enjoy pizza from Vigilante Pizza.
